Precious cane with hard stone handle covered in gold signed Keller in Paris

Cane with hard stone handle covered in gold (18-carat) with a sapphire cabochon inlaid at the end, above a faceted black onyx collar inlaid with gold.

Signed G. KELLER, designed and made by Keller Frères.

Note: Gustave Keller, a Parisian master goldsmith, founded Keller Frères in 1856. Renowned for its refined creations in gold and precious stones, the company won gold and silver medals at the Universal Exhibitions of 1867 and 1878.

Provenance: ex collection of Eddi Van Auken.

Dimensions: total height of 86,4 cm; handle height of 6,4 cm x width of 2,5 cm.

Paris (Art Nouveau period) made circa 1900.
