Large cylindrical opium box made of polychrome cloisonné on copper, predominantly blue, decorated with leiwen motifs (known as “thunder motifs” or “Greek motifs”).

The box is also decorated with stylized polychrome sapeks (red, blue) and various archaic geometric motifs.

The interior is blue enameled.

Dimensions: height 8 cm, diameter 7.8 cm.

Made in China at the end of the 19th century.
