An early 18th century ivory tobacco rasp.
At the top of the rasp there is a shell and a basket of fruit.
In the center a man wearing a hat with a feather and holding in both hands his flask.
A representation of his pipe and tobacco pouch engraved on the top of the rasp.
Second shell in the upper part. Grater missing.
Provenance : ex collection Madame Alaret.
Dimension : length of 17,2 cm.
Flanders circa 1710/1720.
