Please find below some photos of the “Circinus” exhibition held at the Galileo Museum in Florence.
We participated by loaning the most important known 18th-century French architect's chest commissioned from Jacques Canivet by the King Louis XV for presentation to Count Charles-Pierre Claret de Fleurieu.
Director of ports and arsenals, he was the King's engineer for mathematical instruments and also worked for the Royal Academy of Sciences.
