Watch holder in sperm whale tooth and wood with bone inlay.

It consists of a rectangular wooden base resting on four small turned bone feet.

The top of the base is inlaid with bone fillets and wood pellets and two crossed flags (French and English) with inscription "ROMEO N.Y." underneath.

The base is surmounted by two sperm whale teeth, each engraved on both sides.

-The one on the left is engraved with the Statue of Liberty, with the French and American flags on either side, and a basket filled with whaling instruments on the back.

-The one on the right is engraved with a three-masted ship and a basket of flowers and fruit on the back.

The two teeth are joined by panels of carved wood and turned bone.

The central panel is openwork and can be used to hang a watch.

Dimensions : length of 28,6 cm x height of 14 cm.
