One flask hourglass inside a circular frame with stamped decorations.

The frame is composed of two circular brass bases connected by four twisted columns and a support column.

The bases are decorated with floral and star patterns. One of them opens with a small hook, the other is stamped with a maker hallmark representing a whale, the emblem of the maker Hans Christoph Weinmann.

Inside there is a flask with two pear-shaped ampoules linked by a wax joint seal covered with red fabric linked together by a brocade thread. Slightly smoked bubble glass.

Orange silica sand.

Dimensions : height of 13,5 cm x diameter of 5,4 cm.

Nuremberg circa 1680.
